u | information, advice and guidance to help learners to make more informed choices about learning and training opportunities; literacy and numeracy support; information about local training opportunities, college courses and courses in the community; confidence building; one-to-one learning and advice about specialist job related training |
u | help to identify transferable skills; advice about returning to work after an illness and about permitted work; help to put a CV together; advice on speculative letters to employers who may have jobs; information about registered childcare in the local area; access to browse job vacancies on the internet and in local papers; telephone facilities to contact employers and signposting to specialist help to remove barriers in returning to and/or entering the labour market |
u | information, advice and guidance about all areas of business start-up which can include customised coaching; help to source funding; access to education, training and development opportunities; links to networks and a wide range of organisations and 'hands on' help |
Eligibility
Our main criteria is you need to be of working age (16-65 years) and living in the North East of England. However, we are funded by a wide range of public contracts and grant income which may have additional eligibility criteria. If in doubt, please contact us.
