Community Engagement
Our team of community engagement staff arrange fun and informal community activities aimed at jobless people and their families. During these activities, our team take the opportunity to network and encourage individuals to make the first steps towards learning, employment and enterprise through impartial, information, advice and guidance on the range of opportunities available.
Engagement activities include:u educational visits for parents and their children u community fashion shows u family fun days u alternative therapy taster sessions including reiki, Indian head massage and reflexology u arts and crafts including card making, jewellery making, sand art and nail art
Our Community Engagement Team also run a number of confidence building focus groups where people attend weekly activity sessions that we organise around their interests.
