People Acumen’s New Branch Opens in Newcastle’s West End

People Acumen, Acumen’s recruitment service ‘with a difference’, has just launched a new branch in Newcastle’s West End.

Recruitment Consultants David Humble, 25, and Vicky Keogh, 28, as well as Branch Manager Lyndsay Ranson, 29, have been appointed to help local people into jobs and training and provide support as they settle in.

They’re offering help with things like CV and interview preparation and confidence building, and can save time and money for employers too by carefully matching them with the perfect candidates.

Based on Westgate Road, the agency is supported by New Deal for Communities which has helped more than 1000 residents into employment thanks to schemes like At Work, where Lyndsay and Vicky were previously employed.

Lyndsay said: “We’re all excited about opening in Newcastle and introducing People Acumen’s methods to West End residents.

“All three of us are very experienced in the recruitment industry. And with David and Vicky onboard, I’m confident we will make a real difference in this community.

“And as a non-profit-making organisation, we will be reinvesting in the community. Our aim is to deliver an enhanced service to what people would expect from any high street recruitment agency."
